Nazi Germany After World War I, or The Great War as it was known back then, Germany was left devastated both financially and, since German propaganda had not prepared the nation for defeat, emotionally, resulting in a sense of injured German national pride. But because Germany was â€Å"stabbed in the back† by its leftwing politicians, Communists, and Jews, or more colourfully known as the ‘November Criminals’, it was still widely believed that Germany had not truly been defeated. When a new government, the Weimar Republic, tried to establish a democratic course, extreme political parties from both the right and the left struggled violently for control. â€Å"The new regime could neither handle the depressed economy nor the rampant†¦show more content†¦Hitler’s beliefs of national pride, militarism, commitment to the Volk and a racially â€Å"pure† Germany as well as anti-Semitism soon attracted supporters by the hundred. Although the German Workers’ Party started out as a small right-wing organisation, with Hitler’s joining, it gained support. The German Workers Party now featured Hitler as the main attraction at its meetings. In his speeches Hitler railed against the Treaty of Versailles and delivered anti-Semitic tirades, blaming the Jews for Germanys problems. At this point in time the Nazi Party’s ideals seemed to attract members who were part of the labour sector in society or workers. These were the men and women who worked in industrial institution such as factories. These people were often threatened by unstable employment and therefore pay, but Hitler offered stable employment and pay. The Nazi Party’s policies based on anti-Semitism, Lebensraum (Livingspace), economic and social reforms—including nationalization of the trusts also attracted the workers. Times were changing, however, and Hitler was ready to make the next step in consolidation his power. Hitler’s extraordinary public speaking skills were utilised to gather supporters for the Nazi Party. The mid 1920s were a tense and strained period in which much happened. Especially the scene where Sonny the unique robot asked detective Spooner of what is the meaning of that wink he did .Which he answered ,that the meaning of it is trust. It was funny to see a robot being confused about human funny acts. Another scene, is when the demolition of the mansion of Dr. Lanning. It was actually so suspense and has thrilling a experience. It has cool special effects and great animations. Thought of how did they make this effects on a computer in the year 2004. Even most of the scene makes me dizzy because of those effects, because I really feel like it was so true and gives a feeling that I was actually there in that particular moment . Another scene I really cant get over is when the the cat appears on the office of Dr. Lanning with detective Spooner. It was so cute and funny scene as they venture upon going out in the demolishing mansion. The plot twist is insane. I have so many thoughts of guessing if who’s really the bad guy. Thought it was Sonny for he was so suspiscious and thinking that he might be the suspect in the murder. Also , Mr. Robertson who control VIKI because he looked like a bad person as he command Dr. Calvin to maybe deactivate Sonny because he’s kind of unique. But then, at the end I just found out that it was VIKI ( Virtual Interactive Kinetic Intelligence) that is the bad one. I thought she was just a cool and advanced CCTV there, but she’s quietly planning to control the people. I also have that thought first that it was Mr. Robertson who send command to those whole set of robots in two big unique cars who trapped detective Spooner, but I was wrong, it was VIKI. That scene was so intense! It’s one of my favorite scene also. Additional of this is when the revolution happened with those spider-like robots climbing the tall building. It is unusual to see a war between people and robots. It was so tremendous scene making me feel of joining them in that battle. But then there is still things we should consider and limit our knowledge. Because there are also many disadvantages, it helps people to be more lazy and some people will not have any jobs to do anymore. That she thinks that humans cannot be trusted by their decision. People break laws stated to follow commanded by government officials. Since at least 1620, however, when John Donne wrote his famous devotional, the verb toll in connection with the ringing of bells has been associated with death. Bells toll at funerals. At weddings, they peal. I suspect that headline writers reach for the word toll because they associate it with the title of the Hemingway novel  For Whom the Bell Tolls.
